We have a 1974 Maverick. It came with a 200 I6 three speed manual. We have since installed a 302 V8 and a C4 automatic tranmission. I've heard people talk about the rear end. Should we keep it with the original or should we change out the rear end? If we change it out, what rear end should we use and what would be the advantages?

The rear end you have now is the same that came with a 302

A gear swap would be a good idea if you want it to be quicker.
