I have seen a couple of Comets on here and elsewhere that have the Ford adjustable rear deck spoiler. I was wondering which one would work best? I feel like the '71-'73 Mustang spoiler, with its taller legs, would be a good choice but I am curious what you all have done.

Most have swapped the Grabber Maverick spoiler to the Comet.
Most Comets came with the bright trim along the rear decklid and
end caps. It can be made to work with some adjustment.

As far as pedestal mount spoilers I don't have a clue.

Nope Stmanser, I want to use a "period correct" rear deck spoiler like the ones used on the '69-'70 Mach 1 Mustang or the '71-'73 Mustangs. I even thought of having a stripe cut to fit the top (like the Spoiler II and Eliminator) that said Comet GT. But, I want the best height and am not sure if the '69-'70 would be better or the '71-'73. The '71-'73 pedestals are higher and therefore might look more "right" on the car. I'm as much concerned about side to side fit as pedestal height though.

    looks good.

I'm not normally a wing fan but I like those wings on these cars. And since they are Ford from the right years, it stays out of the rice swamp. Just occured to me. They grow rice in crap.

Somebody on here posted a pic of a firebird spoiler that looked and fit well. Might check the archives for it.

In my thinking the 71-73 Mach I spoilers will work the best. I think the earlier ones are too short to work on our cars. I could measure the one on my 70 Spoiler if that will help?
