I used contact cement from Home Depot, and had help from one other person. I applied the cement to the stripping then to the metal, at about two feet at a time. I started at the top middle and me and my assistant (aka my Dad) worked out from the middle around. Make sure that the stripping meets in the middle on the bottom, so you won't leak water into the trunk. It helps to mark the middle on the weatherstripping with a stripe so you know where to start installing it.

    Hope that's helpful...

I second the use of the 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive. Make sure you don't pick up the wrong tube as it comes in yellow also.

Be sure to use Automotive stuff...never use home building stuff. You're working with metal not wood. There's a big chemical difference between the two. Read and follow the direction.
