i'am getting ready to install a radio before i cut the bezel what to make sure its not of value or any other suggestions
a maverick part of any value? nah, chop it up if your really concerned you could fab up a replacement to use instead, but I dont think it would be worth the bother. cut it up
Cut it, their a dime a dozen. I chopped up the one in my '74 and now I'm about to chop up one of the three perfect package tray type ones I have laying around to fit my Pioneer in my '72. Just make sure you measure carefully and don't cut it to big. In my '74, I cut it slightly to small and then ground down the edges until the radio slipped into it perfectly. Time consuming, but it worked well.
