My wife and I are the proud owners of a 72 2-door Maverick with a 200 6 cylinder that we want to restore and take to local cruise nights. You don't run across too many Mavericks in this area. The car has less than 50K; we are the second owners. Generally it's in really great shape--it has some rust on both front fenders and in time we will replace them. The previous owner had a cheap paint job on it and some of the paint is flaking off around the mirrors. The interior isn't too bad--it will be reupholstered as we go along. It sounds like a car is supposed to sound!!! And drives like cars we grew up with. It draws a lot of attention when we are drive it. I look forward to using the forum often.
