So eventually I need to get around to fixing up some little things here and there on my 74 Mav. I'd like your guys' input on some topics. 1. 250 to 302 swap- guys who have done this, are you happy with the results? 2. Custom guages- I don't care for the factory gauges, what sites or companies have good gauges that will work with Mavs? 3. Custom taillights- I would like brighter taillights and probably a different style, any suggestions for taillights that make a good swap? 4. What is the lug pattern/spacing for the wheels? 5. For swapping to bucket seats, are there any type in particular that work well or can I just take any bucket seats I like out of a donor car and make brackets to mount them? Thanks for all of your guys' help in advance, I'm new to my Mav and sorry if these questions seem really obvious or if you get asked them frequently.
for the gages im going to be makeing a plate that allows you to put aftermarket 3 3/8s gages into the stock location. i should have the project done in a week or two. keep an eye out for it. ill put up a post showing it and a post in the classifieds.
