    car should be back together by the weekend and painted in about 2 weeks.

    grill

    back when i first started buying parts for this thing5 yrs ago i liked the later model grill with the turn signals in it.i also liked the nose emblem on the earlier models so we frankenstiened them together.i think i came out excellent.ford never did this did they?

    Looking good, I started about 5 yrs ago also but I'm looking at spring before paint I think.

    I did it about 6 years ago. I just cut the mount out of the grill and notched the back so it would slide on the center section of the new grill to see if I liked it. Wasn't my cup of tea. I still have the center piece somewhere in the garage.

    Bob, I don't think it looks good at all. BUT, if you want to send it to me I'd be willing to put it on my orange 70 and send you a pic of it.:biglaugh:J/K, Looks like it came out pretty nice. What paint did you use on the grill.:)

    don we washed it down real good .took the turn signals off,primered it and used black gloss high temp engine paint figureing it would stick and stay on there for a long time
