Im rebuilding my upper control arms tonight and Im about to press in the shaft bushing, my question is how far should I press them in? the instructions say not to push them in past designated point on the bushing but the are no markings in the bushings that say where to stop. I was getting ready to push them in up to the lip on the bushings but I figured I would get another opinion so I dont have to press them back out once I get it all togeather.

the stock upper bushings are screw in.
if your doing the moog press in bushings then i really dont know. i would mock the bushings up on the shaft and compare it to the control arm to see how far they need to go.

My MOOG bushings have two raised sections on the bushings. I do not have them with me to give dimensions. Like Bryant said, if you assemble the shaft first, the raised dimples should line up with outside edges of the UCA bushing holes.
