I have a 76 Mav, 250 I6 with a leaking steering system. I want to replace this system with a-non power steering system. What do I need to do this other than a non power steering center link? Do I need to replace the steering box and what else? Does anyone have part numbers to look up? This will be my next project.
    Thanks,
    Ken:drink:

Easiest thing to do is buy an adapter from any Mustang supply house. You unscrew the power valve down on the linkage and screw on the adapter. Then just remove all the hydraulic crap from your system. Dont even need a front end alignment.

Hmmm, I am looking at the Mustang Unlimited catalog, and they show 2 of them. 1 For 159.00 and one for 65.00. Help me here, will the 65-70 Mustang conversion kit work?
    Thanks again,
    Ken
