potential header problems

    ive got summit brand long tube headers for a 302 . will the starter thats on it clear the header. its one of the really big starters and we were questioning whether they would fit or not

    Just a guess...

    ...I don't know about that brand, but most headers are made to clear original equipment starters. Ford starters are pretty universal on older V8's. I doubt
    that yours is any bigger than normal.

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    i dont think anyone has gotten the summit headers to work on a mav/comet.

    I've never heard anything good about those headers as far as fitting.
