old engine out after a bloody battle fresh new engine new dirty tranny new clean tranny half painted engine bay my chewed up wiring harness hopefully its all finished and installed in the car tomorrowbananaman:bananaman
Oh yeah, if i ever change to a 302 that's just what i will be doing, using the 'ol spray bomb on the engine, tranny and engine bay. Quick, cheap 'n' easy, just the way i like it.
i had this sixer built for my 70 but my 73 needs it more. it has flat top pistons, 30 over, three angle valve job mild porting, larger valves, and a early model cam w/o all the smog settings. im hoping for at least a 120 hp engine in stead of 95 hp.
Looking very nice, hope it goes together smooth for you.are you going to eliminate all the excess vac hoses and have just two?
lookin good can't say im a big fan of all the blue but i see how people like i good luck on the install today
Looks great, I love when everything is "fresh". Hope you can work your way through that wiring harness!! Chris
thanks guys. im eliminating all vacuum lines except Heater, tranny, and distributor. as for the blue beggars cant be choosers, it was what my buddy had at his shop that he didnt need. well better try and get it in now. before it gets to hot.
I wish my car only had the bare minimum wiring and hoses instead of the birdsnest of mess criss crossing my motor.
not much progress today. my motor mounts are 3 days away, and i have the wrong filter kit for my car (right box but wrong kit...) heres more pics of what i did. hows that to break up all that black?
