Well i thought this would be cool for people like craig dave and others that part out cars. Its for mavericks and comets. IF you have pictures just post a picture of every maverick or comet you have owned and tell what happened to them.
It will take me a while to get to gether all the pictures.

I've owned 6 complete cars (that I can think of, my wife says more..)
These 3, are in my garage now.
    Front left to right, 74 White/Orange 302 Grabber, 73 Brown/Ginger 302, A/C Grabber, 73 Green/Green 302, A/C Grabber

This is a 74 Comet I bought for parts (I know it's hard to believe)

This is a picture, of my White/Orange 74 Grabber, just the way I bought it.Wow, my 88 5.0L is in the background, along with my wife's Camaro....

My very first Maverick, a 74 Grabber, Red/Black 302, floor shift

Man, this car was rotten!! ran like crap, the timing chain was all busted up, had a few bent pushrods...
And finally, the only picture I seems to have of my 75 Comet, well the fenders...the car gave what it could for my white Maverick...

That's what I thought...being in the south, you'd think you could find something waaaaaaay better.

You most definitely can. The body on that thing was very rough, what was left of the rear quarter's was literally flapping in the wind.. The floors weren't any better. Pretty neat car originally, I'd love to see it restored, but it would be one heck of an undertaking.

They might realize they were overwelhmed and part it out there were enough parts to make their money back. We accidently included high back cuda seats with it that were worth almost as much as is worth

    '72 Maverick, 347 c.i., w/ dual quads, TKO 600 5-speed transmission, back halved w/ 4-link, '16 F150, 5.0 Coyotte, regular cab, shortbed, lowered 3/5 & 1-owner '79 Trans Am.
I had two Mavericks in the early to mid seventies and they were quite stock. My daily was a '71 Grabber yellow car that we swapped the 6 cylinder, 3 speed drivetrain for a 302 & 4 speed. (That 4 speed and 9" are going into my '72 soon.) The other was my wife's daily Cinnamon '73 with a 250 cube 6 and C-4 auto. Rust issues caused me to cut up the 71 and retain everything but the body. The '73 got traded for the Atlantis Blue '79 Trans Am we still have. I'd post pictures as requested but I don't have a scanner and they looked similar to Mavericks that people on here own.
