Worst train wreck I ever did see. [IMG]

(Don't feel bad. The shop where I had my Maverick at for a while did the same thing to mine - it was a lesson for them too. I'm still reminded of my ignorance to NOT look for a Pilot Bearing in the engine block when putting a 'new' motor in that had a manual tranny behind it)

I wrestled with that sungun for HOURS trying to bolt it up. My buddy, who is an ace mechanic, came over and we both struggled with it another hour or two. :banghead:

He shat himself when I answered :yup: to his last-resort question, "Did this motor have a manual transmission behind it before?" :16suspect

It took us another 1/2 hour to get the bearing out (drilled in four places then reached for the proverbial BFH :smash: )

    Lesson learned.

Good luck. Keep us updated on it's performance.

All the troubles you've had with that thing...man, I would have probably thrown in the towel by now.

Look at the bright side though. At least you know how to work on a C4 now!
