Okay here are a couple pics of my newly acquired 72 Maverick. Paint job is flawless, chrome is perfect, upholstery is perfect just needs a good detailing in motor comartment a new steering wheel and some touch up paint around steering column. Everything works great on car even dash lights. Cant wait to get this baby out to car shows and just cruising it.

Dan it was posted on Craigslist just 60 miles from me, I was the first caller on it less than 3 hours after it was posted.

A little background on the car. This was ordered and bought by a woman fresh out of college, her first new car. She didnt want a Mustang like everybody else had so when she saw a Maverick she liked it but all they had at the time was a 4 door and didnt want that so ask the salesman about a 2 door then she found out she could get a v8 and bucket seats and floor shifter and she was hooked so she ordered it, she couldnt afford a Grabber so she got just the basics that she wanted and as you can see that meant plain Jane everything else, which is really cool as it makes car very unique. She has kept the car all these years and it was her baby needless to say and was a very tearful moment when I drove it away. She gave me the window sticker with the car as well as all documentation that came with car total sticker price $2,874, bucket seats were a $101.00 option and floor shifter was $25.00 option, it does not say anything about deluxe door panels, I guess that just came with bucket seats. I will be getting Marti Report for it and I bet it will have a very low number with cars built this way, perhaps this is the only one with the interior package it has, doesnt matter to me I love it and wouldnt sell it for $10,000.

It has to be one of the most unique Mavericks out there, well worth keeping as original as possible. Could you scan the widow sticker, and post it for us to see?

Very nice indeed. Way to go. Nice score. Don't you love it, when a plan comes together so close to home?

    Wow,

That is a great score there. I'd bet the Marti report says "1 of ...". There can't be another exactly like this one. Well, there could but it is such a longshot ...
