Picked up another parts car

    Ran across another parts car today a 72 Comet GT, this is a car I looked at a few years ago 250 6 auto on the column bucket seat car, a guy saw it going by his shop on the way to the crusher and saved it.

    This car is Flintstones car the floorboards allow you feet to reach the ground especially from the back seat, too bad because the body is not too bad.

    Watch for parts for sale in the near future

    Be sure to get the info for Seth's Comet Registry. Has to be pretty rare with a column shift and a 250-6.

    Floorpans shouldn't be too bad if the rest of the body is decent. That does look like a semi-rare package. Good small bumper car too. Congrats!

    Will do Craig, not so sure it has always been a 6 car as I found double hump tranny cross member in the trunk and it has the cross brace under the engine as well.

    No it is black. Yes this will be a good parts car for a Comet instead of parts for a Maverick, I said this just for blugene :) but could be parts for a Mav. :D

    If you decipher the VIN, it will tell you if it was a 6 or v8 car.(y)

    Didnt take time to look at it until a few minutes ago when I sent info to Seth, it was and F which means it was a v8 car
