I pulled my 302-1972 this is what I want to do. I would appreciate your equipment recommendations. My goal is fast 0-60 but a good street car.
    1) electronic ignition-what brand/model- looking for a good value and easy
    2) headers and dual exhaust- again make model and good value
    3) 4 barrel edelbrock and new manifold- thinking 600
    4) new camsgaft and lifters- what brand best value
    5) will a high perfomance oil pump suck the oil pan dry?
    6) with above should I get a higher performane fuel pump?

    Thanks

Anyone have a philco am radio for a 72 mav that works and wants to sell it? I bought 2 duds on ebay. They were cheap though.

    1. I would go with a Dura Spark set up. Inexpensive and very reliable.
    2. Hooker 6901 with 2 1/2" pipes all the way out the back.
    3. I prefer Demon carbs.
    4. Comp Cams
    5. stock pump will work just fine for the street.
    6. I would think a stock one will work just fine here too.

    1. Ditto on Duraspark. 2. Hedmans long tubes also fit well. 3. Holley carb and any of these intakes: Ford A321, Edelbrock RPM, RPM Airgap, F4B, Weiand Stealth, Ford C9OX, Shelby "Cobra". 4. Choose your cam wisely, your compression ratio is only 8 to 1. This is more critical than everything else. You don't want a big cam ground for a 10 to 1 motor in your's. 5. Stock oil pump is fine, unless the pressure is too low (Got a mech pressure gauge in there?) 6. Stock fuel pump will supply all the fuel you'll need. It doesn't take much fuel to supply a carb, or even multiple carbs.
