Good morning folks ,its a great weekend for racing ,going to the Langley loafers old time drags ,the sun is shinny and its a good time to be alive. Im going to set up camp at the track today(this morning ,im going to get a shady spot by the river) and start racing Sat,time trials a 9 am.
A few Pics are on the Facebook site North American Maverick Comet Club (NAMCC) a GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. I think the new club will have 10 active members by the Mega Ford weekend in Sept and 25 by this time nest year, i predict by the mega ford weekend next year 2010 ill have 25 cars show up for that weekend.
Not yet ,but i will be ,im having carb problems now on the top end,after the 1/8 mile i drop off bad ,going to a Holly carb expert who has a flow bench tommorow to see what he can do, 11.77 going through the traps at 5500 rpm ,i havent even run NOS yet. My realistic goal is 11.40 on pump gas and ill get there cuz the car is getting faster every run . Im going to go out again this friday night street legal if it dosent rain.
