ok well i was telling him that the person who made the maverick suv was stupid and that they ruined the look. he said they dident because some people liked it. i told him u dont make a sleek hotrod into a bulky suv. and i told him morjority says the mav suv is stupid so how many of u like the maverick suv. i think it looks stupid and dosent even resemble a maverick at all.
that is a link to a pic of the suvmav.

I think it's based on the Ford Escape ... better to use Maverick name on an SUV than some crappy 4-cylinder econocar ...

Yea, god forbid Ford's rights to the name run out and we see a HONDA or TOYOTA Maverick (or worst of all, chevy). :90:

SUV's suck whatever you name them. Especially when they're a front drive jacked up station wagon. But what was with that link saying ford of europe would be busy with a new SPORTY?? fiesta? hmmm sporty and fiesta shouldn't be in the same sentence even tho sporty really only means stickers and interior trim anymore.

Maverick by Honda Toyota CHEVY!!!! Please never write that again. I almost lost breakfast on my keyboard. As long as the blue oval is on it I am ok with the use of the name. Perhaps some day we will see another Maverick here in the states. I just hope it is what the Maverick of the 70's were. Sporty Good Looking cars that can be beefed up by an owner for not a lot of cash. Dreaming are'nt I....
