As many of you know....newsletters were finally mailed out. There was a delay due to the fact that we now have a bulk mailing permit. I had to apply for that and get that all set up, then that permit had to be placed on the newsletter before printing. There was also a delay because I had to order more window decals. I then had to stuff envelopes with two decals and a membership card, and then that envelope had to be inserted by hand in each of the newsletters. Sorry for the delay. Now that we have a bulk mailing permit....we can get the newsletter out faster.

If you did not receive a newsletter, 3 reasons:

    1. It hasn't gotten there yet....give it a few days.

    2. It got lost in the mail. Because with a bulk mailing permit, if your address is incomplete.....the newsletter will not be sent back "Return to Sender"....they get thrown in the trash. Your address HAS to be accurate and complete. On the next newsletter...I will be able to set it up where they will be sent back "Return to Sender"....but that costs 60 cents for each one returned. So please make sure your address is correct.

    3. You forgot to send in your renewal. Some of you on here have not done it yet. Don't make me name names!!! :)

Why have it sent back? wouldnt it be cheaper just to send another one? How much money do you estimate we will save with the bulk rate?

I would have it sent back so that I know that the member didn't get it....then I can chase it down and get the correct address. Otherwise.....we would never know.

Outside of a yearly fee...it cuts the postage in half....and we can mail up to 3 ounces at that same price. Regular postage you pay by the ounce.
