Hello. I'm new here. I've had a 72 Maverick since 1979. It was my high school car. 2 door/6 cylinder/3 on the tree, AM radio. It's been a drag car since 1985. It now has a 432 C.I. Cleveland with a Liberty clutchless 5 speed. 8.50 at 157 mph.

I have a question - I'm working with a guy on EBay (Brian at Western Sheet Metal) for another set of doors. He has a pair of 76 or 77 model year doors. Do they fit a 72 Maverick? Are the body lines exactly the same? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome from Ocala,Florida......... I think the only difference is were the door handle is inside the car... it should fit but your 72 door panels wont work you'll have to use the ones for the 76 77 car....
