Hello everyone, I'm Patrick and I'm new to this forumn. My first car (16 in '89) was a 72 grabber gt with a 250 w/over 300k miles. It ate oil like crazy and eventually I wiggled a moderately built 289 HiPo out of a 65 Galaxy 500 in it (i had to dent in a couple of the tubes on the passenger side Hedman Headers to get it in). I loved that car and had tons of fun in it. Being young, dumb and full of myself i gave the motor to a friend of mine and bought a built camaro. Though the camaro was faster, the Mav was my first.

I don't remember who bought my first mav so i couldn't go and buy it back. Recently though i went out and bought another. The "new" Mav is a '73 (same year as me:thumbs2:) 302, C4. It's a daily driver with a fairly straight body but horrible interior. I don't know the new car's history but i'll get around to posting pix. Although it's pretty sweet as it sits, there are tons of things i want to do to it.

I've looked through some of the awesome pix already posted and i'm looking forward to getting to know some other Maverick fans.

It appears my sloppy typing caused an extra "GT" on my first Mav. It was a Grabber though
