Newbie here 74 comet 2dr

    My first car was a 70 Comrick (a front clip of a Comet and rear maverick clip) My father owned a body shop. well my son will be 16 in December and I wanted to get something we could both work on. Some time together and let him learn about his car. I just picked up a 74 Comet with 20,xxx original miles on it. Yeah really. it has sat since 89. 250 AT. I guess some of the mods we want to make are changing front bench to bucket seats. Power brake/front disc set up. From sitting it needs a right side door the bottom is about shot with rust.

    I think this is a great site and am excited to find it. I am sure I will be picking some brains as I get into this.

    Thank you for the welcomes. After my "Comrick" I had a cougar eliminator, 71 Mach one, 68 mustang shelby GT350, 68 Mustang Shelby GT350 convertable, 73 Mach one, and was looking for a pantera when I instead got married. Now I drive an E150 conversion van. ( Oh well)
