New to the Maverick World

    Hello all, I'm Gareth(17)
    Just bought my 1st maverick this summer, as my first car.
    Its a 74 2door. Building it into to a street/strip car. Mild 302sbf. 8.8 rear, C4. Cal tracs with mono leafs.
    Grown up in the Dragracing world, helping with my Dad's 68 Mustang and Uncle's 67 Mustang. I raced Jr.Dragsters for years, now a crew chief on a top Dragster. I was looking for a Mustang as I grew up with them but everyone has Mustangs, and I saw a Maverick some years back and fell in love with it.

    In the process of getting it all together for next summer. Motor should be going into the shop within the month. Fixing a few rust holes in the engine compartment and trunk.
    Still looking for a few small parts to finish the car. Im looking for small bumpers to replace the semi truck ones on the car, as well as a Grabber spoiler.

    Hope I can learn lots from yall on here and even be able to find all those little parts I need to get my dream car finished.

    same reason i didn't go for a mustang...way too many..nice car also. the plus is someone already added the scoop! looking forward to seeing the mods.

    Scoop was a selling feature lol. Got it repainted from body color to black. Just a start to my mods. Looking at getting the bumpers, hard to find though.
