    Hello all,

Just wanted to say hey and thanks for having me in the club!
    Just purchased a '71 Maverick with a 64k, 302 v2 mostly stock
except for some weld wheels and dual flow masters. I'm sure I'll
be asking plenty of questions. This will be my first Maverick. I had
the misfortune of picking it up during a hail storm and naturally it
now has hail dents...any good way of removing the small dents?

:Welcome: aboard Don...glad to have you here. Like Scrapper mentioned, the guys that do PDR (paintless dent repair) can sometimes do amazing work. They are all over the country so I'm sure you have somebody close to you. I would try to get some references from some of their customers before I would cut them loose on a hail job though. Expect it to be fairly expensive but I guarantee you they can do it much cheaper than a body shop. I know, I manage a body shop at a Lincoln Mercury dealership. Good luck with it and post some pics when ya can. :)

Wilbur and I are the state reps - so glad you could join us! We live in Plymouth, half way between Mansfield and Norwalk. We're hoping for spring so we can all get together again. Let us know if you need anything. Susan

Welcome! I think Ohio has more Maverick members than any where else. I have Maverick friends there myself! A good body man can work out small dents without breaking the paint. You will need to ask around. The hood, deck lid may need replacement. The headliner can be droped to access the top for repairs. Most dealerships have a good (ding) man for lease returns! Ask. Good luck!
