Put the new tires, hub caps & trim rings on the '72 Maverick today. It looks quite a bit better. Now I just have to work on the rest of the car. I got the tires at a good price. They were out in front of a guy's house. He bought them to put on a car that was wrecked right afterward, so they were brand new with the stickers and blue stuff still on them. I got the caps & trim rings from Terry. Thanks Terry!

Thanks for the compliments. I've always liked that look too. Plus, it's an easy way to make the 4 lug rims look nice. The photo makes the car look nicer than it really is. It has quite a way to go, but it's one step closer. Craig, I'm not sure about the width of the rims. I dropped them off to have them mounted and never got to see the bare rims. They may be 6 inch, but when I eyeballed them with a ruler through the center hole, they looked around 5.5 inches. They're definitely wider than 4.5 inches. The tires really aren't ballooned out from the rims. Maverick73, I went out & took a couple of photos for you. I hope this is what you're looking for...
