New slicks and Wheels!

    Finally got a set of slicks for the Mav:D

    Weld Pro-stars 15x8 with 4.5 backspace. with Mickey Thompson E.T. Drag slicks 28x9.0 (they are used but still have .200 window depth)


    If you bought this new from JEGS... Wheels are $ 319.98 pr.
    Slicks are $ 331.98 pr.
    Inner tubes $ 107.98 pr.
    Rim screws$ 12.99 set.


    Thats $ 772.93 :mg:


    I got them on ebay for $334.90 !

    I almost forgot they also came with a set of 10 open ended lug nuts with washers!

    You lucky dog. That's exactly what I've been looking for, same rim and slick and everything. Congrats!

    I haven't been able to make myself buy them from Jegs cause they are so expensive, but I haven't been able to find much used.

    What width is your rear end (on your car that is)? Do you need spacers?

    I have a 1957 Ford 9 " in my car so these wheels and tires will fit perfectly without spacers.
    My street tires are 275/60`s on Weld 15x10 with 4.5 backspace.

    These are the first slicks I`ve ever actually owned.

    The car ran a 1.87 60ft. on Pep buys Futura GLS street tires

    But I was "feathering the throttle quite a bit to do it.

    I cant wait to LAUNCH the car!:)

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    i guess you can do more burn out contests now with the other Futuras now that you got some real tires :p

    Nah, I entered just that one Burnout contest because I hadn`t done it before.

    It was probably the only time I`ll ever do that...If I`m gonna be That hard on the car I want to be Moving,NOT sitting still:bouncy:
