New Rear End

    I'm thinking of changing my stock 300 4 lug rear end to a 355 posi 5 lug. My question is will I have to replace the drive shaft or will it bolt up to the u-joint housing on the new rear end. The width is the same on both, 52 inches so it should fit under the car ok. Its going in a 71 mav.

    If both rearends are 8-inch, you do not have to change the drive shaft. It's a direct bolt-on...
