Well folks ,last week i posted some pics of the body work myself ,my pops and my buddy were doing on the restoration to my girlfriend Bevs 1971 v8 floor shift maverick grabber . I would like to show you now the paint job rite after it came out of the paint booth ,they say the paint job is only as good as the body work ,I THINK WE DID A DAME GOOD JOB. Oh by the way im still going to wet sand it with 2000 grit and then polish it ,when im done i believe you will be able to floss your teeth in the paint job ,PS look for all the reflections in the paint and remember it hasnt been polished yet. cheers Jimmy stay tunes for more pics as it comes together
Coutangman,to answer your question ,the exterior and interior will all be original maverick grabber(factory high buckets,blue) ,it will have a ford 9 inch with 3:80 possi ,the 302 has been stroked to 347 a dynoed 411 hp,a Cowen c4 with a 3200 stall, Weld draglites front and back and thats it ,pretty much stock with a few go very fast parts.
Why not keep it all original? Not too many people have an "original" grabber "resto".........:confused:
