    Good Morning

I am MAVROCK 72, and I just want to say hello to every body.
Here is a little background on some of the prodjects I have worked on in the past and what I am working on now. I own two 65 mustangs that I restored from the ground up. The first is a 65 GT coupe that I finished in 1993. The second is a 65 fastback that I have owned sense 1987, and has been rebuilt as a Shelby GT350R model.

I am now working with a friend of mine on his 72 V8 maverick that is the origional GRANDMA's GROCERY GETTER car with only 65K origional miles on it. It had only minor rust in the lower quarters and some holes under the vynal top. Also the battery tray area including the inner fender is gone. At this time the car is stripped down to an empty unibody, and is on a rotisary. The quarters are fixed and the right inner fender is replaced with an NOS one. We also followed a TECH article and used a 65 mustang gas tank to replace the rotten origional.

This prodject is just getting started and a lot fo this car I didn't take apart myself, so I will probably need some help with putting some of the assembilies back to gether. We do have a set of origional FORD shop manuals that I hope will help, but the vacume controled AC looks a bit tricky. Also the columb auto shift linkage looks tough. I have ben trying to talk him into a floor shifter, but he is not going for it.

I tryed to post a picture of the prodject Maverick, but I was not able to. Probably operator error.

I wish every one a good day and look forward to being a part of the maverick family.
