Hey everyone, I'm from Jonesboro, AR. I have a 1970 Maverick and a 73 Comet, the Maverick is a driver and the Comet is a project. My brother Jerry ( Miteemaverick ) is a member and he pointed me to this site, he said he has met a lot of nice people and got some worthwhile info here. I am in need of the V-8 engine stands( they are between the motor mounts and frame) for my Comet if anyone has any. I pulled a 250 from the Comet and have my 351W ready to go in and this is all I'm lacking. They have some on a car here at a junk yard but it has 2 other cars stacked on top of it and they won't move them until they are ready to be crushed. He said he would call me before they crush it but I'm not counting on it. Anyone who has the v-8 engine to frame stands can e-mail me at jberryhill@cox-internet.com Thanks
welcome to the board. are you looking for the motor mounts or the frame mounts or both. just asking because i got new motor mounts for my 302 71 grabber at napa. they were about $14 each. never checked on the frame mounts though. good luck.

Thats pretty cool you guys being brothers into mav/com's. there are another set of brothers in Ky, the Hahns. My brother lives in Paragould, Ar. but he is not into mavs. Did your brother tell you about the maverick/comet nationals in July? It is in Owensboro, Ky. should be about a 4 1/2 drive from you. Oh yeah, I have a brother in Louisville, Ky. also but for some reason I just didn't think it would help to relate to Ar so I didn't mention it, not that my brother John(maverick5946) isn't important, Oh now I see, he is into mavericks though. So to follow up here I have a brother in Paragould that is not into mavericks and a brother in Louisville that is.
