What is the price like nowadays? I assume materials are more expensive?

Yeah, I thought Mo was backing out of the Maverick world...

I have a grabber hood, but I never was a fan, and after putting it on, still not turning me on. I might have a better time with the extra hood clearance of a cowl hood, as well.

i got the hood for my car. i put it on mo's car to get pics of the hood and see how well it fits.
mo is in limbo on if hes keeping or selling it. i bet if he sees it with this hood he may keep it!

thanks for the nice comments guys glad you like it!

i would like to charge like $850 to be honest. however do all know i do this for the love of mavericks and i know where most people sit with budget with maverick so since hoods were $675 plus shipping before. i will most likely sell them at only a $25-$30 increase to they will be probably $700 ish plus shipping. shipping can range from high $160's to low $200 depending on location.

yes material has gone up from 10 years ago. yep that is right it's been 10 years since i made the first one. and yep all these and these other companies are just getting on the bandwagon now doing stuff for early model cars... lol!

anyhow the main part of this is this hood is vacuumed so it has a better weave to it. the carbon weaves don't get bunched up as much. this process takes a whole another step. IMO.... it is worth more then a $25 increase but again like i said i do this for the love of the maverick more then anything else. ;) this hood also has a frame that looks like the OE hood as well where as the other did not. also so you guys know this is the first hood and only hood i have done in this process so be happy.

so to answer your question... yes it will cost more.... but only $25 - $30 bucks more. ;)

sell it. buy this one. ;) however you will have to wait some for this one. i probably won't start production on these until next year. i have a lot on my plate right now.

Damn, I just came in my pants. What is price shipped to 99212

I might have to sleep in the dog house for a few weeks and buy one without the wife knowing :D

Can I paypal you like 75$ or so every few weeks until I am paid in full.. 900$ hurts less over a long period of time -- especially if my wife finds out Im getting it.

    Married Rule #2358, Paragraph 26 Line 7

Always spend double on her, this establishes a baseline for male expediters.

Example: Buy washer and dryer for her, cost 2000 (the one she wants with no argument). This automatically puts $1000 in the man bank.
