new maverick 1970 owner and i got ?'s about the rust

    Whats easier to get rid of rust sandin it off and the primer it and paint it or repanel it and paint it? HOw much does it cost to repanel a 1970 maverick

    easiest thing is to sand it off and primer it. however if it is bad then you need to replace the metal. probably need an experienced bodyman to do that. you need to cut the rust away that goes all the way through.:)
