Howdy and :Welcome: . Sprints are pretty rare in the Maverick world due to the fact they were only made the one year. Where are you located?

I agree about the rarity of Sprints. If your Sprint is in as nice a condition as my 74 I trade yah ... I'll keep the Sprint original and you can do want you want with my 74 ... :)

I'm from Ole Virginny . These parts I'm looking for are predominantly new ones that I can't seem to locate , such as subframe connectors ,headers for a 4v cleveland (AFTER I chop out the shock towers ) racing leaf springs , that sort of stuff.

What part of VA? There's not much in the way of prefab stuff for these cars. Most make their own or modify mustang stuff.

Do a search on "cometgt1974" he has a car that is running faberglass leaf springs...very hot set-up and very good.

that was a very helpful link I 'preciate it ! I'm gonna look into shock mounting strategies and leaf springs too. I would love too put some of those maier mustang springs that move all the leafs in front on if that would not be more trouble than it's worth .
Has anyone made early mustang leafs work in a mav ? whacha gotta do ?
