I'm new to the board. But I own a 1970 Grabber, one owner with 98,000 miles I also have a 1975 Mav 124,000 Miles. W/ air, and no rust, which is good for Ne. And For Christmas I gave my Son a 1977 Mav W/ air, power disc brakes, p/steering.
welcome to the board. where are you located. i could be adopted if you want to give me a maverick too.
You are a good dad. My dad gave me one for my first car and that's why I'm here today with my Mavs. Welcome and enjoy the endless information available here.
Hey guys, I am searching for pictures of a 1973 yellow and white (made in Canada if I remember correctly) Maverick Grabber. It was my first car ($2,954) and I bought it the fall of 73 when I was 16. My girlfriend at the time nicknamed it the "Upside down lemon meringue pie" I never knew I had a hot car then because my older brother owned a 1966 Corvette Stingray. I totaled it back in 1978 driving too fast hours after putting in new plugs (she was feeling frisky). All I have left of my first car is two of the rim inserts and one picture taken in profile of something else that shows about 14" of the rear of the car. There were other pictures but the long gone girlfriend had them and no doubt they met the fate of my car.
Thanks Craig Thanks for the picture Craig. Is my memory right about this two tone being made in Canada? Doug P. canyonwall@hotmail.com
