The 9" is now in place of the 8"! The car now officially has 4 wheel disc brakes (sort of). Next weekend I am going to look at a 94 Bronco for parts. It's a roll over with a 302 and an automatic so I'll potentially have an injected 5.0 and lots of parts to sell. The guy drove it home and it's a good runner. My understanding is the 94's were mass air but I'll find out more on Saturday. Coming at a good time too, I need a P/S box for my pick-up as well as a powerwindow motor. Here's the 9" stuffed in with make shift lowwering blocks so I can see where it will sit. Doesn't look like much but I'm happy. Some new shots of the poor car. I was going to do some welding up front but I found some fried elecrtical inside the welder. Explains why it wouldn't feed.
Not sure yet, I would like to but all the home projects keep getting in the way. If the Bronco I'm looking at on Saturday runs like he says it does that will knock out a big expense making it easier to pull off.
What a let down! The Bronco has been sitting for 7 years and was a less than base model. Only thing it had going for it was the 302, no power accessories, nothing. The guy wants $500.00 for it to boot. Oh well, moving on.
Nothing that I know of other than old age. I had hoped I would get a runner so I could get the car on the road and then take my time building a 347 with the other. I was also hoping to use some pieces off the Bronco that I need for my truck. I have never seen a Bronco that was this much of a stripped down model. It didn't even have the center console.
