Hi everybody, I have been hunting around on this site for about a week, and I think you are all great. There is so much information on this site it is unbelieveable. I had no idea that these cars had this kind of following...a lot of people I tell about my new toy tell me that it looks like a pinto, and they kinda laugh. I dont think so at all, and I love it because it is different, and you dont see nearly as many mavericks as you do mustang, and camaros, and firebirds. I just bought a 1970 Maverick (1969 1/2, according to the guy I bought it from) I will have it in my garage this weekend....Right now it has no motor, or tranny in it...but it soon will. I am going to run a 92 5.0 mustang motor, and a world class T-5 tranny....I am looking for any suggestions though..I was thinking on going with the motor fuel injected, but I like the old school look under the hood...If any body has any suggestions for me that would be great...I have about $4000 to play with building this car.... I hope to be posting many more times. I will have pictures this weekend....if I can figure out how to post them...
Well well well, what do you know, two new girls (women) in two days, both with 70 mavericks and simular names(user). We love pics, hope you get to share some soon! Great to have you here!
