Hey guys I'm fairly new to this club and well I really need some help. I purchased my 73 comet as a massive project and the guy I bought it from had it sitting for atleast 3 years. Skipping to the chase, my fuel filters keep getting clogged up and I took a sample of the fuel that was in the tank and it's green and has some kind of oil like substance in it. I have a feeling like it's doing my cheap stock 2v carb bad and I'm thinking rather than just cleaning out the tank and redeeming it, just purchasing a new one and slapping it in. Any idea what year tanks may be compatible and where I can find them? Thank you very much!!!
