Need some help to decide on a power rack & pinion kit for my comet. I have narrowed it down to a kit from either Unisteer or RRS, i have been going through old threads here and reviews on the web, both have their pros and cons. I'm looking basically for the easiest install without to many mods. Unisteer comes with pump and hoses, RRS does not, and is expensive but sounds like the better product and easiest install. What do you guys think

You could make your own setup using a 1985 Cavalier rack, but it does require lots of work on your part, but for me the cost savings was well worth it, mine was around $400, either system requires you to modify the end of the column.

Nick Dominick is one of the only people I am aware of that has the Unisteer kit. I am planning on installing one on mine this winter since they are only an hour up the turnpike from me if I have any issues.

I wish i had seen the Rod & Custom setup a few years ago, would have been nice to do the whole lot in one go. I'm leaning towards the RRS set up mainly because they are local over here, so if there's any problems it might things a little bit easier
