Just found an all original Grabber ('72). No rust no body issues what so ever and the price is right at 2500 (302 floor shift buckets 8" rear end with 5 bolt). The issue I have is that it has front disk brakes which I am being told are also original but I thought disks were not an option until '74. I might add that the paint is truly original no doubt of that as is the interior.

If there has been this modification also (15" or rear 14" on front) is there something else I may be missing before I close the deal on this car?

At $2500 sounds like a screamin' deal, lots of room to convert it back to total stock if that's what you want...

For most of us a disc brake conversion adds $500 to the price(no they are not orig)...

Disc brakes would be a plus, unless you are trying to be concours correct.....

The discs and the 15's would not have been original. I would still slowly dump a bucket of water down the windshield to check the cowl for leaks. Pictures would help greatly. Sometimes through the miracle of the internet, members here can pick out a lot of tiny details that may not have been disclosed by the seller.

As others have said, this sounds like a screaming deal. What kind of shape is the original paint in?

You may want to be certain its an original V-8 Grabber...Check the vin.
    It should read: 2_93F______
    The 93 denotes a grabber. The F denotes a V-8.

It`s a heck of a deal if the cowl is good, other body areas are easier to repair & don`t cost as much to fix.
