Hello, I am in the process of narrowing a 9" to fit in my 72 Grabber and was wondering if anyone out there has any info to share on this? I am looking to stuff my 11" tires inside the wheel wells so they are not sticking out. The rims I currently have are old school AR slots that are 10" deep with a 3.5" backspacing. What I need is a measurement from inside of backing plate to backing plate. I think the stock 8" was 49" but can't remember for sure?? The 9" I currently have installed is from a 69 Mach1 S Code and the measurement is 52". This has pushed the tires way out past the wells. Has anyone done this swap and if so what did you narrow yours to? Thanks Again! 1MadMav
