Well, I found one and picked her up today! It's a 70 Grabber with a 200 6 and an auto. It's Grabber Green with black interior and stripes and a really gross green/white houndstooth type vinyl top. It has a little rust in the front of the hood, but nothing unrepairable. There is also a little hole in the driver's lower quarter. Other than that, she's pretty nice. I spent today cleaning it up. Here's a couple pics. I found it about an hour away from my house. Now I have two Mavs again! Yippee! I think Doug is rubbing off onto me.... :) I am going to modify it when I get a chance. Plans are to rip off the top, and possibly replace it with a black one of the same style. Then paint it the original color and stripe combo. Then it's either a roller 302, roller 331 or 347 stroker, or a 351, and an AOD. Also disc brakes will be added and the rear changed to 5 lug. The car is complete. I need to find a center spoiler section and a matching front bench seat as it is crappy, or buckets if they can be found. Man I am excited....

P.S. Craig, I'll email you with the info for the 70 Grabber registry..

It also has the factory AM radio and it has power steering. The headliner is perfect! That's it for now.

Nice! The trunk of your '70 looks different than in my '70, I don't have the sheet metal thingy in the left rear corner or the black thing on the left front corner of the gas tank.

My uncle had a 70 Grabber with that Sticker. I think there must have been a recall or something because Ford mailed these out to registered owners of 70 Mavericks and included the sticker and the recall/warning info.

Also - interesting trunk compartment ... Is that all California emissions stuff?
