The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Is not the drivetrain or bodywork or anything to get it running.

Its what to do when it runs: I have had severals ideas what to do with it but then i see someone thats alredy done it.

I had a vision of a grabber blue w/CF hood and spoiler and side exit Xausht
    then i see lance's car

A mustang GT like rear valence with backup lites and twin tip's
    then i see fans car

    Stock Mav
    Dan's grabber

    GT500E
2 in mexico, 1 in brazil

    Falcon tailights
then i see a mav on craiglists w/them

    shelbyzized
    rays done it

    comick
    3 alredy done

    Bossmav
i think 3 are woking on these right now

    shaker hood...done
    fastest mav...too much $$$

i relly dont have a clue what i want to do with it now....everything's been done..even a riced one:(

if i dont come up with something...i'll probally do a Brazillian GT clone:bouncy:

That would be cool. I am also throwing around a couple of good ideas :evilsmile . I am thinking about doing away with my license plate on the bottom valance and moving it between the taillights. After that putting a fuel cell in the trunk for the gas and putting GT500 exhaust outlet where the license plate was. Just remember I called dibs on this idea if it hasnt allready been done.:D

dont give up,.... not everything has been done to one yet,I have enuf ideas to do at least a handful more of completely different cars with no duplications. I doubt that I'll do another after the 72 is done though. but, back to your plight...

the best advise I can give you is to look at your car, and think of the overall look you want it to have, or a theme if you will. once you have the basic idea, then the details will come to you on the little things.but stay true to the big picture, if you start mixing up themes, and styles your build will go haywire and things will start to look out of place and as an afterthought. you also have to know when to say when. yeah, its easy to add on this or that.... but at some point it begins to clutter,or deviate to where it isnt consistant with your main idea, thus detracting. (my opinion)

come up with something you like, and make it your own. (y)

There is a "Cobra F100" that makes it's rounds to GA car shows. The owner took a wrecked late model Cobra and swapped the entire drive train including the rear independent suspension to an early F100 Ford pickup truck .... doing the same thing to a Maverick would be awesome ...
