Just for giggles I got a history 999 report on my Stallion. For those of you who dont know, I am the original owner of the car and I ordered it. The only things I learned from it was it does not state the car is a Stallion, I knew it wouldnt. Also it states Jade Interior Trim Color,, I dont know what that means, but the interior is all black. And they also told me it has power windows. So dont believe everything you read, and just because Ford said it was this way, it may not be. Also, per a previous post on a similar subject, it does state the Youth Appearance Package as an option. That last option is possibly the only way to actually identify a Stallion thru a history 999 report, but in my opinion, possibly. I still dont have enough evidence, or other peoples stallions history 999 reports to say this is the way it is. Dan
very interesting. funny how info changes over the years. does this mean our marti reports are the same way?
That's not bad, the one for my 74 White/Orange Grabber, says it has "Copper" colored interior, looks like orange to me. I think they must just have kids doing those. Marti-reports come right from the computer files used to build the cars.
FYI ... you can get them for any Ford ... A couple of weeks ago I got one for my 2006 Mustang and one for my 1994 F-150 ..
Thanks for the info Dan. I'll have to get one for my 1999 Explorer and my our 1986 LTD II Wagon. Where can I get the correct phone number to call them about this?
I'm guessing the Marti Report is more accurate. It does clearly say "Stallion option" on it and not "youth appearance package". But the 999 report is free!
Call this toll free number and give them the info they need.: 800-392-3673 Simple and best of all, it's free!!! __________________
