Motor mounts 200 vs 250

    Anyone explain or better- have pics :

    whats difference between front motor mounts / brackets for '76 250 vs 200 ?.


    I have a '76 with a 200 and want to put a 250 engine in. The "insulator" or 'rubber mount' is the same part, are the frame brackets different or block brackets ? . What makes up for the wider block ( @ 1-1/2" ) ?.

    Thanks for the pic' , I would need to UN-shim to put a 250 in a 200 (narrower mounts) car but it confirms the different bracket theory. Probably will re-drill or help the 200 brackets to fit if 250's aren't found ...
