I just took delivery of my new stroker motor that has a Moroso 20502 oil pan. Looking through past threads I found conflicting information.:hmmm: Will it fit without modification or not? Moroso shows this part fitting the Maverick but I'm unconvinced. Is there another 7 quart pan with a provision for mounting a dipstick that fits without modification?

I will be watching this thread as I also have the larger oil pan...

It will not fit without notching the pan or modifying the engine/lower control arm arms.

    Can't use a stock pan

I cannot use a stock pan or dipstick. My March serpentine set-up and associated parts don't allow for them. Believe me this subject has been beaten to death.

    Notching the pan

Can anyone give me the measurements for modifying the pan? Armed with this I'll ask my engine builder to do the work.

Maybe there is another brand of 7qt pan with a dipstick hole that fits without modification.

There is not one. I had to deal with the same issues on my engine build when it came to the oil pan and dipstick mounting location. I believe in my build thread tje measurements are on there. If not pm me and I will help you out with them.

I have a Moroso front sump drag pan that I know will fit in my 70.As far as a dip stick goes, get a timing cover that has one in it.
