    Hello all,

New to the forum and have a question... looking at buying a 70 mav with a six cylinder in it. Are there any suspension or other modifications needed to drop a V8 in it? 302 or possibly 351W

    Thanks

youll need motor mounts, belly bar, 5 lug rear axle, and depending on what trans you have it might not be strong enough idk what trans can be used for both thou, the suspension is basically the same the spring rate is different but alot of people use the 6cly springs to be lower.

if you put a 351 in there youll need to shave the shock towers to give you room for headers and to change your spark plugs
