Lack of attentiveness is one reason why Farcebook is now killing conventional forums. I've been on Facebook Fairlane/Torino forms for a couple years (co-administrator on one). That said, I thoroughly despise FB. Getting or even giving sound advice is often lost in the "my sisters ex-husband, third cousin's, next-door neighbor said". I recently called out a group who were doing nothing more than firing the parts cannon at a problem (yeah, they were butt hurt). The poor guy had spent probably $350 chasing a bad neutral safety switch. About as often as not the members (that's too generous, participants is closer) have no idea how to troubleshoot using a meter or even test light. Yet everyone is a expert. Am I going to the Facebook Maverick forms? Not likely.
One perk of Facebook, I have my Fairlane & Cobra on the opening page of two different forums. The one I co-administrate was easy enough but on other they had a vote for which members liked best. I submitted a burn out and won. Dunno how long before it's changed for someone's else car. 1968/69 Torino, Fairlane, Cobra, Ranchero Fans | Facebook 1969 Cobra Owners and Enthusiasts | Facebook
This one was a bit tricky. Had defeated some of the safeguards and it took me a bit to get him - but I did.
There actually was very little reporting made. And it was on different posts of his, so it made things worse. Just keep reporting stuff as needed. And thank you to all that did report it.
Sorta like our streetlight that had been out for close to a month. I finally reported it and was repaired a few days later. Everyone figured someone else would report it.
