yep got a line on a comet and a maverick too.

i just don't know what to do. soooo i'm posting the one on down below on the classified section.

    http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?p=300575#post300575

i know this shouldn't be talking about selling a car in this section only but man this car is just way too clean not to share what it looks like. and besides its not my car anyways :p

i'd take the car myself but i just don't have the room :( i thought about selling my yellow car and buying this one but i just got too many new parts on my yellow car and then to swap it all over... well its the time that is giving me second thoughts.... :( i guess i get attached too.

some thoughts here on what to do? even though i posted it anyways... lol!

also got a line on a 69-1/2 too. the only major things differant on those are the key in the dash, rearend, 4 lug and gas tank right? also anyone know if a 200 head will fit on a 250? just wondering on the compression side... you know rasing it.

anyways just need someone to set my mind streight :p

the 69 will also have drums in the front. dont know about the head though, might want to try fordsix.com. wish i could come across some decent cheap stuff around here. the north east is definatly not a good place for a car guy to live

    Hey, D!

It would have been a lot better if you had brought one of your models along when you snapped those pics!

    ;)

    Nice looking car.

    I've had a few
'69 1/2, diffrences are: Key down on the package tray (package tray is slightly diffrent, thicker/reinforced where the switch mounts), totally diffrent steering column requireing a '69 Mustang turn signal switch, there are a few diffrences under the dash with how the pedal bracket thing mount that are not visible and don't really make a diffrence, smaller transmission tunnel and the floor pan will not alow bolt in of bucket seats without makeing spacers for the inside tracks on both sides, the rear axel will be a 7.5 4 lug, rear shocks are not staggered. Drop in gas tank. Front drums are scary small, smaller then the drums that came standard on all later years. You cannot get front rubber brake lines for the stock front drum setup on a '69.5 anymore from what I have found, they are diffrent then front drums of all other years (dosen't really matter if you are going with disc brakes). There is something diffrent about the front ball joints also, although I don't remember off my head what it was. The doors have no reinforcement inside them like later doors do. They are very light, a good 50 pounds lighter a piece. Rear seatbelts are not retractable either.

cool thanks i didn't know about the tranny tunnel... first i heard of that one... the other ones i remember someone saying something about that but it is always good to have a fresh recall.. thanks!

guess i have to wait to see what this thing looks like before i do something... the comet i think has found a home.
