A while back there was one for sale here on the board from Brazil. I believe Mavaholic was researching what it would take to put it on a Cargo ship and get it to the USA ... not sure what happened after that ..

I thought I read here that they weren't even a true Ford product.
From what I understand, they are more like a conversion van...
A 2nd rate company takes a stripped Ford van and fills it full of tacky upholstry and multicolor paint, then sells it to a dealership to sell as new.

That is more or less my understanding of the wagons...
A Maverick 4 door outside conversion.

If this is the case, then IMO they fall into the kit car catagory like the Dragin Fly... Not my cup of tea.

A few years ago I had one lined up to be imported. Had the shipping company lined up and everything. But the way the guy wanted the money sent made me leery and I backed out. Plus I found out they were all converted 4 doors so it made it less appealing to me.

Personally, I don't even think they look good.
I would rather find a later Falcon wagon and back half it onto a 2 door Mav/Comet and make a sedan delivery.
Probably could be done with only the roof off the Falcon.

Edit: Hey, my 75 needs a roof...
And I know where a Falcon wagon sits in a junkyard...
    Hmmm...

I think a pinto wagon would look closer to a mav. wagon !!!

    I was looking at size.
To make anything look right, I would think you would just have to use the roof. Any more than that, and it will look like a Maverick with a Pinto or Falcon rear end...
