maverick shift collar for 3 speed

    hi, i was wondering if they made a 1976 maverick with the 3 speed transmission on the column. my shift collar is broken and im looking for a good one.i see one on ebay (NOS) and they say that it is for a 1976 maverick but they want 100.00 for it.if they made a 3 spped column shift car in 1976 i think i will buy it. if anyone out might have one in nice shape that they want to sell i might buy it from them as well. later,mark

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    I parted out a 1976 with a 3-speed on the column. Already sold the column many years ago.....but it does exist.

    As far as I know all years were available with a 3 on the tree ... it was the standard on the base model Maverick ...

    Yes, there was just a guy selling a 1977 on the board that had a 3 on the tree. Pretty rare in the later years, but they are out there.

    What is broken exactly? They should all be the same from 70 (except 69.5) to 77.
